Rising from the ashes from the attack on September 11, 2001, downtown New York has become a welcoming designation for thousands of new residents.  This transformation from commercial center, to multi-use residential and commercial complex has been an 18+ year design and financial challenge; however, the results are impressive.  The design competition and politics that would transform the complex from a hole in the ground to a center for remembrance, reflection and new growth has been a labor of love.  You’ll be able to see the designs, how they evolved and what is currently at the site.  Learn about the design competition to rebuild the World Trade Center site and the transformation of Lower Manhattan.
